# 3 PDAs and iPhones are used as Presidential Campaign!

In my government class, the teacher asked the whole class, “Who is going to receive a text from Obama tomorrow?” Everybody was clueless what she just said. I personally think that text messages and the internet will play a very important role for upcoming months. It is a easier and faster way of reaching people, specially the young ones to be interested in the Presidential Campaign. Both parties will be promoting through the internet and text messages for the 18 and 20s range to get support for voting. I seen text use in school about when a checklist is due, what is for homework, bring snack for the class, and etc. It would be a great idea for campaigning to be in student council or to be a class officer. By doing this promotion on the cell phones the word will spread out faster and easier. Everyone in school will know who is running; having ideas who will she/he vote for. Many cases are the minority of the whole school doesn’t know who is running for what. By doing these promotion on the internet or by text message other people in the world can have access in what is going on in the United States. I don’t think is a bad thing, because in the first place the information and promotion of the campaign is place set up. Anyone can sign up in the newsletter, receive messages on their e-mails or get a text message. The whole world knows about who is running for president, what caught the attention to many were; first female and first African American to run as President of the United States.
